Author Guidelines

1. Style Guidelines for article submission
1. Authors must ensure that their papers are free of spelling and grammatical errors and typos.
2. Research papers should not exceed 6,000 words and 15 pages.(Please note that the word count includes everything in the main body of the text and the reference part not included in the word count.)
3. A separate title page of an article should contain the title of the paper, name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s).
4. The first page of an article should contain an abstract not exceeding 250 words and a maximum of eight keywords.
5. Equations in the text should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals within simple brackets and aligned against the right margin.
6. All appendices should be numbered consecutively using uppercase roman numerals and shown after the list of references.
7. References should be cited within the text as follows: According to Wickremasinghe (2005), foreign exchange market … These results are inconsistent with those of other studies (Perera, 1995; Silva, 2000)
8. List of references should show each citation in alphabetical order and follow the style of APA 7th ed.
9. Figures and tables must be placed where it is intended be and not at the end of the article.
10 . Manuscript must be submitted as a MS Word document (*.docx).

2. Plagiarism Policy
#The publisher and journal have a policy of “Zero Tolerance on the Plagiarism”. We check the plagiarism issue through two methods: reviewer check and plagiarism prevention tool (ithenticate.com).
#If a plagiarism issue arises, it will be the sole responsiblitiy of the Author(s). Journal, Editor or anyone associated with this journal will not be responsible for that and the article will be removed from the journal archives within immediate effect without any notice to the author(s).
#All submissions will be checked by iThenticate or any other plagiarism checking software before being sent to reviewers.
#Keep a Similarity Index <30% and single source matches are not >6%

3. Peer Review Process
​Article submissions are reviewed by three members of the JSWEP Peer Reviewer Committee in a
double-blind review process. Peer review Committee will include one Editorial Board Member and two external subject experts. Peer review committee will look for plagiarism, content, and style of the manuscript. Once they complete the process, they will submit their suggestions to the editor.

4. Terms Conditions
Corresponding Author shall declare the following once they receive provisional acceptance from the journal:

​1. I confirm that I have read, understand and agreed to the submission guidelines, policies and
submission declaration of the journal.
2. I confirm that all authors of the manuscript have no conflict of interests to declare.
3. I confirm that the manuscript is the authors' original work and the manuscript has not received prior
publication and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
4.On behalf of all Co-Authors, I shall bear full responsibility for the submission.
5. I confirm that all authors listed on the title page have contributed significantly to the work, have read
the manuscript, attest to the validity and legitimacy of the data and its interpretation, and agree to its
submission.
6. I confirm that the paper now submitted is not copied or plagiarized version of some other published
work.
7. I declare that I shall not submit the paper for publication in any other Journal or Magazine till the
decision is made by journal editors.
8. I understand that, Editor(s) or anyone associated with the journal will not be responsible for any type
of malpractice in the paper including the issue of plagiarism. If found guilty, paper will be removed from
the journal by the editor without any notice as soon as possible and journal will not be responsible for
anything.
9. I understand that submission of false or incorrect information/undertaking would invite appropriate
penal actions as per norms/rules of the journal.
10. I confirm that upon acceptance of the paper, I will publish the paper (immediately in the same
publication round).
11. The Author (s) hereby grants to the Journal, a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty free
license to publish or distribute the Work, to enter into arrangements with others to publish or distribute
the Work, and to archive the Work.
12. The journal/editor will have the right to modify the article according to the journal standards set by
the Editorial Board.
13. I understand that, author(s) will have the right to share the article published over internet without
changing the layout, content and with due reference to the journal of social work education and practice.
