​Is the Journal of Social Work Education and Practice a refereed/Peer REVIEWED journal?
​Yes. Article submissions are reviewed by three members of the JSWEP Peer Reviewer Committee in a
double-blind review process. 
​What is the Current acceptance rate of the journal?
​JSWEP's current acceptance rate is 22%.
Note: This figure is the average of submission data in the year 2021.

​2020: 28%
Does JSWEP have an impact factor?
​No. A journal's impact factor is a proprietary product from Thomson Reuters, which does not index the Journal of Social Work Education and Practice (JSWEP) at present.
Who oversees the publication of JSWEP?
​In addition to the editor, JSWEP operations are guided by an Editorial Board.
Where Can i find information about submitting an article
JSWEP website will provide you enough details for submitting an article. You can check the 'Submit Manuscript' link for information regarding article submission.
How JSWEP define 'authorship'?
JSWEP define 'author(s)' as those individual(s) who have been contributed to the preparation of an article.
Does JSWEP has deadlines?
Yes. Deadline varies with each issue. Article that received before each deadline will be considered for that particular issue. If JSWEP receives an article after the deadline, it will be considered for the next issue that follows. Also note that submitting an article before deadline doesn't guarantee that it will be published in the upcoming issue. If the review process takes longer than usual, the paper will be published in the following issue once the decision has been made.
Does JSWEP accepts international articles?
Yes. We would consider articles from all around the world and already published articles from more than 10 countries around the globe.
Does JSWEP publish book reviews?
Yes. The books selected for review must be relevant for the social work fraternity.
How should JSWEP be cited?
CItations must follow the guidelines provided in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition (APA 7th Edition). You may refer this link for How to cite something you found on a website in APA style
Are there any Publication/Article processing charges?
No. We are not charging any fees or charges at present. 
DOES JSWEP has any digital archiving policy?
No, JSWEP has no Digital Archiving Policy yet. We are in the initial process of selecting an appropriate digital archiving agency. 
How can I know the indexing and abstracting INFORMATION of jswep?

How long should I wait to contact the journal editor for an update?
​We understand that waiting for the journal to get back to you is a stressful time. Unfortunately, our current review timeline is more than three months. We also would like to acknowledge that some papers are taking around 12 months to complete the peer review. Thank you for your academic resilience!
